Wound-healing problems have a major impact on a patient’s quality of life. Sumner Wound Care has a variety of treatment options including specialty wound dressings and ointments, total contact casting, debridement, bioengineered tissue grafts and negative pressure wound therapy (VAC). SRMC's wound care program is an outpatient service, working in conjunction with the patient's primary care physician to treat problem wounds. Types of wounds treated include:
