Sumner Sports Medicine
Sumner Sports Medicine certified athletic trainers work with physicians
and other health professionals to serve school athletic programs, sports
medicine clinics, professional sports programs and other athletic health
care settings.
In accordance with the National Athletic Trainers’ Association,
our mission is to enhance the quality of health care
for athletes and those engaged in physical activity and to advance
the profession of
athletic training through education and research in the
prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of athletic
injuries.
All of our athletic trainers have been certified by the
National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification.
Some of our athletic trainers work in the schools to
teach classes and cover sporting events and practices.
