The goal of Sumner Regional Medical Center’s Emergency
Room staff is to offer the highest quality health care to all
our patients, 24
hours a day, seven days a week. We strive to deliver
these services in a professional and compassionate manner with
physicians and nurses
who specialize in emergency care and specialists in
many fields who are available for consultation. Recently the ER
implemented liaisons
to serve as the communications link between ER staff
and patients.
We try to see every patient as quickly as possible; however,
sometimes wait times are inevitable in a busy emergency setting. Patients
with life-threatening illnesses or who need emergency treatment will
be taken immediately to the treatment room. We will be happy to explain
any delays and will do everything possible to ensure you are comfortable
and properly informed. |
