Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death worldwide, for both males and females. Cardiovascular disease includes high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, stroke and many other heart diseases.
In an effort to expand heart care in Sumner County, Sumner Regional Medical Center added a first-class Cardiovascular Outpatient Unit to provide:
- Full-time cardiologists on staff
- A state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab
- A cardiac rehabilitation program
