Request for Sponsorship and/or Contributions
Thank you for your interest in Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc. Our goal is to further our mission in the communities we serve by supporting and contributing to organizations that advance the mission, vision and public purpose of SRHS. Priority will be given to organizations that are aligned with our Sponsorship Policy and Criteria.
The SRHS Sponsorship Committee will consider requests submitted to Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc. as well as the following affiliates:

Requests for sponsorships and/or contributions must be submitted on-line or by faxing a completed request form to (615) 328-6601.
Sumner Regional Health Systems takes our commitment to Corporate Citizenship very seriously and since 2002 has contributed more than $1,000,000 in cash and in-kind contributions to many worthy organizations in the communities we serve. However, due to the large volume of requests we receive, organizations meeting the guidelines listed in the policy below will be given priority consideration. These guidelines allow us to be very generous with our donations. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee sponsorship. All requests are reviewed on an individual basis. All requests will be answered either in writing or by phone.
Policy
It is the policy of Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc. (SRHS) to contribute and support organizations, activities and causes in Northern Middle Tennessee including Sumner, Macon, Trousdale, Smith, Robertson, Clay, DeKalb and Wilson counties which advance the mission, vision and corporate purpose of SRHS in these communities.
EFFECTIVE July 1, 2006, SRHS will follow a process designed to determine sponsorships, in-kind donations and fundraising advertisements. All organizations wishing to submit requests for consideration are encouraged to apply at least 60 days in advance of your event or publication date. Requests will be reviewed on the first Tuesday of each month.
The goal for Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc. and its affiliates in 2006/07 is to focus primarily on the following areas:
- Local chapters of disease-related organizations (such as the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, March of Dimes)
- Healthcare Safety Net organizations
- Organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life of its community residents
When evaluating sponsorship opportunities top priority will be given to those organizations that are aligned with the areas listed above.
SRHS will NOT contribute to:
- Individuals
- Political campaigns/parties
- Religious organizations (in-kind donations only—auction item, use of tent, etc.)
- Solicitations received by form letter groups that discriminate on the basis of age, race, sex or national origin
- Solicitations received by national or regional organizations
- Activities that do not advance the mission, vision or corporate purpose of SRHS
