Special Events

Every year SRMC hosts special events to educate the community about health issues, including:

  • Family Fitness Festival
    This event brings several hundred elementary-school-aged children together each fall for a 20-minute walk that has raised more than $60,000 for Sumner County's physical education programs.

  • Safety Saturday
    SRMC gives families an opportunity to get car-seat safety checks, DNA kits and fingerprinting for their children. To read more, visit the Safe Kids Worldwide website.


  • Bike Rodeo
    SRMC works with the Gallatin Police Department to teach children bicycle safety.
